explor a tion

a walk on the beach as the sun set in san fran.
beautiful to see the ocean pulsing-- seeming like a storm was brewing.
thinking back on these times, it was great to have discussions about everyone's thoughts on the 99% movement and to be around the energy of people who were trying to have a voice.
it was also amazing to be around ruth and jesse and sarah, ruth's friend, now my friend too...
all of whom think in a more socially responsible and conscious way than i have been lately..
the idea of recycling, composting, sorting garbage. and a community where this is the norm..
seems light years away from the expectations in ohio.

a huge new change i've had:
i love the idea of taking better care of your body.
it's the ONLY thing you always will have
it's the thing that determines most of the actions you take..
how important health is and how little so many of us put towards that.
organic food-- loving the idea of knowing that i'm trying to always put good things in my body.
splurging on this above material things, because how much more important it is.
i learned recently about coconut oil, how it has tons of health benefits.
you can eat it straight, you can use it instead of lotion, you can cook with it instead of olive oil or vegetable oil,
i've been using it instead of lotion and it has been AMAZING.
it makes me feel great, makes me feel good to know that i'm aware of the thing i'm putting on my largest organ, my skin feeling so smooth and nice...
and i've even been using it on my face without any pimples, and with positive impact on the starts of wrinkles, etc.
anyways, check that out.
