ownhership: keepin the old gold

returned to the city in plenty of time for a few stops....

stopped at this restaurant that bill had suggested for some good sushi and ramen. it was a japanese style ramen -- miso broth, hot and great. it sparked interest with me because it was served and looked in lots of ways like korean cold soup- the half of an egg in the broth, the ingredients were similar in some ways but it had a very different flavor.

i put an image below of a cold korean soup that was what I was thinking of for your ref:

this soup that i had in korea had a vinegar based sweetish taste. and that's pear, beer and egg aside from lots of other ingredients..

"bill on the field"

it seems amazing to me that bill plays soccer a few times every week. great. i remember feeling like i couldn't squeeze in time for things like this on a regular basis... not sure if it's the availability- closeness in the city to things like this, lots of friends that are interested in the same things as you who you like and bond with or what... things to think about...

neil is riding this funny super akward bike he got from his sister's friend at work... pretty hard to ride.. we ended up stashing this in my car on our way to bill's place

wish i had gotten a picture of bill's apartment in sf. the view from it was amazing and there were all kinds of funny houses surrounding it. there was this house that looked like it was built on a slant. it was really really cool-- and it didn't look like you could enter it apart from a walkway from a neighboring house... pretty cool..
